A family is more than just a father, mother, and children living together under one roof. A family means being part of a very important group. Being a family means sharing good times and bad times: it means being there when you are needed: it means knowing and caring about each other, it means being able to say you are wrong, but we still love you. It means being a truly good friend; in short it simply means growing together in love and Christ. To break this down further I would say:

F is forever: we will stand together and be undying friends until the very end.

A is for all: not just father, not just a mother, not just a sister or brother, but it takes all of us standing tall and bold to come together and make a whole.

M is for memories: of all the things that we shared; things that have been done, simply because we really cared.

​

I is for invisible: the invisible bond that holds each member of this family together not just a short while, but forever and ever.

​

L is for love: that we have for each other: the kind of love that is very rare: this kind of love is always there.

​

Y is for yours: it is your responsibility to see that these family ties are not broken but held close together and that things are done to make it not just good but better and better.
